Throughout the school year, students participate in a variety of meaningful events that celebrate our Catholic identity and deepen their understanding of faith.
School Masses and prayer services mark important moments in the liturgical year, offering time for reflection, gratitude, and shared worship. These gatherings bring students, faculty, and families together in a way that reinforces both faith and community.
One of our most powerful traditions is the Living Stations of the Cross, presented each year by our 8th grade class. Through this moving reenactment, students bring the story of Christ’s passion to life, helping the entire school community reflect on its meaning in a profound and memorable way.

Some traditions at OLA are simply unforgettable.
Our annual May Procession is a beautiful expression of devotion and unity. Students and faculty process together to honor the Blessed Mother, with our 8th graders carrying the statue of Mary and participating in the crowning ceremony. Each student contributes a flower, creating a collective offering that symbolizes both faith and community.
Catholic Schools Week is another highlight of the year, a joyful celebration of faith, excellence, and service. The week is filled with special events, school spirit, and opportunities to welcome families and the broader community into our school. From Mass and open house to themed days and activities, it’s a time that truly captures the spirit of OLA.
