At Our Lady of the Assumption School, our scholars Kindergarten through 8th Grade are fortunate
to have every specialist, once a week, every week!
Library/Technology, Art, Music, Physical Education, Spanish:
Library/Technology
The mission of the OLA Library is: to enable students to independently access, evaluate, and use information efficiently and effectively with the goal of becoming a life long learner and producer of knowledge; to support the educational objectives of the school's curriculum; to foster a love of reading; and to encourage our students to live the school's mission statement.
The purpose of the OLA Computer and Technology program is that each student is able to comfortably use a computer/tablet. Computer skills will be introduced in the primary grades and mastered as students advance to the middle school level. Through this exposure, students will gain a positive view of computers as tools for learning. Both iPads and Chromebooks are utilized in the OLA Technology program.
