Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)
At Our Lady of the Assumption School, our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is more than a group, it’s the heartbeat of our school community. Through generosity, creativity, and a deep commitment to our students, the PTO brings families, faculty, and staff together in meaningful ways that enrich the student experience both inside and outside the classroom.
A Community That Shows Up
The PTO plays a vital role in fostering connection and school spirit through a wide range of events that students and families look forward to each year. From the joyful kickoff of our Ice Cream Social to moments of reflection and growth like our Anti-Bullying Assembly, each initiative is thoughtfully designed to support the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Throughout the year, the PTO creates small but meaningful moments of joy for our students, like surprise slush treats at lunch, reminding them that school is not only a place to learn, but a place where they are known and celebrated.
Supporting Our Teachers & Classrooms
Behind the scenes, the PTO is a powerful partner to our faculty and staff. From hosting a special Teacher & Staff Appreciation Lunch to providing resources that enhance classroom learning, their support ensures our educators feel valued and equipped to do their best work.
The PTO also helps offset costs for field trips and enrichment opportunities, making it possible for every student to participate in experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom.
Strengthening the OLA Experience
What makes the PTO truly special is its commitment to building a strong, connected school community. Every event, fundraiser, and initiative is rooted in a shared goal: to create an environment where students thrive, families feel welcomed, and traditions are built together.
Whether you’re volunteering your time, attending an event, or supporting an initiative, being part of the PTO means being part of something bigger—an engaged, supportive community dedicated to the success of every OLA student.
