Welcome to Our Lady of the Assumption School!

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our wonderful school community. Whether you are a current family, a prospective family, an alumnus, or a friend of OLA, I am so glad you are here.

One of the greatest blessings of my life has been the opportunity to spend my career working with children. Before becoming principal, I spent many years in the classroom, and those experiences continue to shape the way I lead our school today. I still see myself as a teacher at heart. Every day, I am inspired by the curiosity, kindness, energy, and joy that our students bring to our hallways and classrooms.

What makes OLA so special is not just our strong academics or our commitment to faith, although both are incredibly important. It is the feeling you get when you walk through our doors. It is the smiles that greet you in the morning, the friendships that are formed, the teachers who truly know their students, and the sense that everyone belongs.

At OLA, we strive to educate the whole child. We want our students to grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. We challenge them to work hard, think critically, and discover their God given talents. At the same time, we encourage them to be compassionate, respectful, and service minded young people who make a positive difference in the world around them.

As principal, my hope is that every child who walks through our doors feels safe, valued, and loved. I want each student to know that they are capable of great things and that they have a community of teachers, staff, and classmates who believe in them every step of the way.

I often find myself overwhelmed with gratitude when I look around our school. The laughter of our students, their excitement when they learn something new, their willingness to help one another, and the faith they share so openly remind me every day why Catholic education is such a gift. The children of OLA bring so much joy to our community, and it is truly an honor to be part of their journey.
