Welcome!

Welcome new families and welcome back to all our scholars, staff, and current families! The 2021-22 school year will offer a return to many of the normal school routines that we had to do without last year, but we must also be mindful that the pandemic is not quite done with us. I’m confident that OLA will once again be a leader when it comes to safe, high-quality, in person learning despite the challenges that remain.

My priorities for your children this year are simple. I want to keep them safe. I want them to learn, to meet the standards for their grade, and to be ready for the next level. I want them to be joyful at school and to feel loved. And finally, I want them to know that they are all special in God’s eye.

We are pleased to let all our scholars and parents know that so much of what they missed last year is returning to OLA. From early morning drop off to middle schoolers switching classrooms to after school programs, student life will once again offer the things that make a school fun, lively, and convenient.

I want to thank all of our parents in advance for their support and patience as we celebrate OLA’s 60th year. Last year may have been like no other. But this year will be better than ever!

At Our Lady’s we strive to be one of the finest Catholic Elementary Schools in the Boston Archdiocese. Our extremely talented and dedicated veteran staff prepares each of our students to reach his or her full potential scholastically, socially, and spiritually.

Our “LIFE’ values set the tone for our everyday interactions and are recited together each day:

Lead others by our example. Inspire others by our activity. Faithfully follow the path of our Lord Jesus. Each of us will work together to benefit all of us.

We thank you for your continued interest in Our Lady of the Assumption School.

God bless,

Cynthia Donovan Principal
