Catholic Identity
Faith is at the heart of everything we do at Our Lady of the Assumption School. It shapes how we teach, how we lead, and how our students grow, not only academically, but as compassionate, principled individuals.
Rooted in the teachings of the Gospel, our school community is guided by values of respect, integrity, kindness, and service. Students are encouraged to discover their unique gifts and use them to lead by example, inspire others, and make a meaningful impact in the world around them.
What truly sets OLA apart is how our faith is lived each day.
Our close partnership with the Ave Maria Parish Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative creates a strong and authentic connection between school and parish life. This relationship is not just symbolic, it is deeply present in our students’ daily experience.
Throughout the school year, students attend Mass together, where Father Paul and Father Peter thoughtfully tailor their homilies specifically for children. Whether sharing a lesson on kindness, reinforcing the importance of compassion, or helping students navigate everyday challenges, their messages are relatable, engaging, and impactful, making faith both understandable and relevant.
Faith at OLA extends beyond religion class. It is woven into the fabric of the school day, through prayer, reflection, service, and daily interactions. Students don’t just learn about their faith—they live it.
This foundation nurtures not only strong students, but strong individuals, grounded in values, guided by purpose, and prepared to lead with faith wherever life takes them.
