We are thrilled to welcome back sports at OLA! The league program will be available to 5th-8th graders and is hosted by the Boston Catholic Athletics.

**CHEER TEAM**

OLA will once again have a Cheer team!! **Students in grades 5-8 are eligible.**The Cheer team will perform during the boys home basketball games during the winter season. Practices will be held on Mondays from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the OLA School Cafeteria and on Fridays, as needed, prior to game days.

Practices will begin on Monday, November 13, 2023.

Cheer Cost: $125

Basketball and Cheerleading

OLA is part of the North Shore Catholic Elementary School Basketball League. Each fall we hold tryouts for our JV and Varsity boys and girls team for students in Grades 5-8. Please note: All players and participants must have an updated physical on file in the Nurse's Office to be eligible to participate prior to the start of the season.

Cheering Info

We will be sending updates as more information becomes available.

The Cheer Team will cheer for Varsity Boys home games and several JV Boys home games.

Home games will be held at St. Mary’s HS Lynn on Saturdays. The V & JV boys games are typically held from 3 to 5/5:30 pm. (Final schedule tbd).

PLEASE NOTE that in order to participate you must be in good academic standing and you must attend all practices and all games (unless excused by your Coach).

Your commitment to the OLA Cheer Team is required! We are aware that many of you participate in multiple activities and sports inside and outside of the school so we ask that you please take a thoughtful and thorough approach to your decision making process and the requirements set forth by the school and our Coaches.
