Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a family can make. At Our Lady of the Assumption School, we're committed to making the admissions process welcoming, transparent, and personalized from the very beginning.
We believe that finding the right educational environment starts with building meaningful relationships. That's why we take the time to get to know each family, answer your questions, and guide you through every step of the journey as you discover what makes OLA a place where students thrive academically, grow in faith, and develop into confident, compassionate leaders.
We offer rolling admissions based on availability and encourage families to begin the process early, as openings in some grade levels may be limited. The best way to experience the OLA difference is through a personal tour, where you'll see our classrooms in action, meet members of our community, and experience firsthand the warm, faith-filled environment that sets us apart.

Step 1: Schedule a Tour
The best way to experience OLA is to see it in action. Tours are held Monday thru Friday between 9:00AM - 11:00AM and do require advance registration.

- Meet our faculty and staff
- Observe the energy, engagement, and faith-filled environment that defines our school
- Ask questions and learn more about our programs, curriculum, and community

Step 2: Submit Your Application
When you're ready to take the next step, we invite you to complete our online application. Our Admissions Director carefully reviews each application to ensure that OLA is the right fit for your child’s academic, spiritual, and personal growth.
To be considered for admission, families must submit the following:
Once all required materials have been received, our admissions team will begin the review process and guide your family through the next steps.
When you're ready to take the next step, we invite you to complete our online application. Our Admissions Director carefully reviews each application to ensure that OLA is the right fit for your child’s academic, spiritual, and personal growth.
To be considered for admission, families must submit the following:
- Completed Application and $72 non-refundable application fee (per student)
- Copy of the student’s Birth Certificate
- Copy of the student’s Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
- School Transcripts/Academic Records (Grades 2–8)
- IEP or 504 Plan documentation (if applicable)
- School and Camp Health Form completed by the student's pediatrician
- Entrance Assessment (scheduled individually with each applicant's family)
Once all required materials have been received, our admissions team will begin the review process and guide your family through the next steps.
Step 3: Student Visit & Assessment
One of the most exciting parts of the admissions process is giving prospective students the opportunity to experience life at OLA firsthand.
Students entering Grades 1–8 are invited to participate in a Shadow Day, held on Wednesdays throughout the school year. This visit allows us to get to know your child in a classroom setting while giving them the chance to experience our vibrant school community.
During their Shadow Day, students will:
Each visiting student is paired with a same-grade student ambassador who will guide them throughout the day, helping them feel comfortable, included, and confident as they explore all that OLA has to offer.
As part of the visit, students will also complete an entrance assessment, which helps us better understand their academic strengths and ensure appropriate grade-level placement. The assessment is one of several factors considered during the admissions review process.
Our goal is for every student to leave feeling excited, welcomed, and eager to become part of the OLA family.

Step 5: Enrollment & Welcome to OLA
Once enrollment is confirmed, your family officially becomes part of the OLA community.
From your first day, you’ll find a school grounded in faith, driven by academic excellence, and committed to nurturing the whole child. We work closely with families to ensure every student feels confident, supported, and ready to thrive.
