Admissions Overview and Inquiry

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Our Lady of the Assumption School! The application for the 2026-2027 school year is open.
 
* Please note we are no longer accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year for Preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten or 8th grade.

We offer a Preschool (age 3) through 8th grade full academic program.

By completing the inquiry form below, Mrs. Hiduchick will receive your information and assist you with next steps, including scheduling a tour.
Entrance Screening
As part of our admissions process, entrance screenings help ensure the best academic placement for each student:
  • Preschool & Pre-K: A brief interview with our teaching staff may be required.
  • Kindergarten: A screening with a member of our teaching staff is required.
  • Grades 1–8: Screenings are administered by our Resource Department or Principal.

School Records
Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that all school records and transcripts from the student’s current school are submitted to OLA as part of the application process.

Shadow Day at OLA
Students entering Grades 1–8 are invited to participate in a Shadow Day, held on Wednesdays. Shadow Days offer a meaningful glimpse into daily life at OLA.

During the visit, students will:
  • Join classroom learning activities
  • Engage with peers in their current grade
  • Meet teachers and staff
  • Experience OLA’s welcoming, faith-filled environment

Each visiting student will be paired with a same-grade “buddy” and follow their schedule throughout the day. An entrance assessment will also be completed during the visit.
